thought does not run along a single track
though they originate from the same station
and are affected by the same terrain
the landscape in the midst and mist

here are 3 as unrelated as they can be

soon a son
a son is soon
that is good and we are well

my daughters are laughter with a `d`
what will my son be?

2. …. .y.
i recognize urgency
though not the necessity
for hurry
that anxiety
is without dignity

i am not meaning to be abstruse or mysterious
the circumstances
are a bit much
and though i want to write
when i sit, i find…
the only possible response is silence
